The
Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems
is looking for a student (f-m-d) for experimental activities as a research assistant (HiWi) within the Max-DePoly project.
The project focuses on the solvent-based dissolution and precipitation of polymers.
Your tasks
- Sample preparation on a very small scale (weighing polymers, pipetting solvents)
- Performing and evaluating DSC measurements (differential scanning calorimetry) to
investigate the thermal behavior of solvent-polymer mixtures - Electronic documentation of measurement data and results
Your qualifications
- Enrollment at a German university with above-average academic performance
- Laboratory experience, ideally with analytical methods (e.g. DSC, precision balances, pipetting techniques)
- Careful, precise, and patient work with very small quantities
- Reliable and independent working style
We offer
- Contract as a student or research assistant, 40 hours per month (adjustable by mutual agreement),
initially for a fixed term of 3 months, with the possibility of extension - Induction and support in a varied working environment
